Leavz Terms of Use

This is an English translation of the original Russian version. In the event of any discrepancy between the versions, the Russian version prevails.
These Terms govern the use of leavz.net and related features, hereinafter collectively referred to as “Leavz” or the “Service”.
By using Leavz or creating an account, the user agrees to these Terms.
1. Account
Leavz may be registered for and used only by persons aged 16 or older. By registering, the user confirms that they are at least 16 years old.
If it becomes known that an account was created by a person under 16, Leavz may delete the account together with the content posted in it.
A valid email address is required to register.
The user is responsible for keeping access to their account and to the email address they provided secure.
A display name of the user’s choice may be used in the profile. It does not have to match the user’s real name.
The display name, photo and other profile information do not in themselves confirm the user’s identity.
It is prohibited to knowingly impersonate another person, an organization or their representative.
2. User Content
The user may upload photos, videos, texts and other content to Leavz.
The user retains the rights to the content they own. Posting content on Leavz does not transfer ownership of it to Leavz.
By posting content, the user grants Leavz a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use it for as long as it remains posted on the Service and to the extent necessary for Leavz to operate.
Such use may include storing, playing back, displaying and technically processing the content in accordance with the visibility settings chosen by the user.
Technical processing may include changing the format, size or resolution, creating technical copies and previews, and other actions necessary to store, transmit and display the content.
3. Rights to Publish Content
The user may post only content for which they have the necessary rights or another lawful basis for publication.
This applies to photos, videos, music, texts, images and content containing information about or images of other people.
If posting content requires permission from the author, the rights holder, a person depicted or any other person, the user is responsible for obtaining that permission.
The fact that content is available on the internet or on another website does not in itself mean that it may be republished on Leavz.
The user is solely responsible for the content they post.
4. Access to Content
The user decides who can access their content using the settings provided in Leavz.
Other users may use content available to them only in the ways provided by Leavz features, or otherwise with the permission of the rights holder.
5. Rules of Use
Leavz may not be used for unlawful activity, to infringe the rights of others, or for actions that threaten the security of the Service or its users.
In particular, it is prohibited to:
- post content whose distribution is prohibited by law;
- infringe copyright or other rights of third parties;
- violate the privacy, confidentiality or safety of others;
- use the Service for fraud, deception, threats, harassment, phishing or spam;
- distribute malicious files, links or code;
- gain unauthorized access to other people’s accounts, data or systems;
- circumvent technical restrictions and security measures of Leavz;
- collect user data or content in bulk by automated means without the permission of Leavz.
6. Moderation
Leavz may moderate content and review reports of violations of these Terms.
If content or a user’s actions violate these Terms, the law or the rights of others, or threaten security, Leavz may limit the visibility of the content, remove it, restrict certain account features, or temporarily suspend or terminate access to the account.
When choosing a measure, the nature of the violation, its severity, its consequences and whether it is repeated may be taken into account.
Leavz is not obliged to review every piece of content before it is published.
Content that may violate the law or the rights of another person can be reported using the tools available in Leavz.
7. Deletion
The user may delete their content and use the available account deletion feature.
8. Leavz Materials
The software, design, logos, graphic elements and other proprietary materials of Leavz are protected by intellectual property law.
Using the Service does not grant the user any rights to such materials.
Copying, distributing or otherwise using them beyond the ordinary use of Leavz is permitted only with appropriate permission.
9. Operation of the Service
Leavz may change, add or discontinue certain features and carry out maintenance.
Certain Leavz features may be temporarily unavailable, for example during maintenance or updates.
10. Liability
The user is solely responsible for their actions, the content they post and their interactions with other users.
Leavz does not verify the accuracy of information posted by users.
To the extent permitted by law, Leavz is not responsible for the content or actions of other users.
These Terms do not limit the user’s rights or the liability of Leavz where such a limitation is not permitted by law.

12. Changes to the Terms
Leavz may update these Terms when the features of the Service, its rules of use or legal requirements change.
The current version is published on Leavz with the date of the last update.
Users are notified of material changes by means available in Leavz.
